What You'll Learn & Experience
- Skills: Basic scuba diving techniques, including equipment usage, breathing methods, and underwater communication.
- Activities: A brief knowledge development session, followed by a confined water dive to practice skills, and an optional open water dive to explore local dive sites.
- Techniques: Proper breathing, equalization, mask clearing, and hand signals for effective underwater communication.
Program Requirements
Who Can Participate?
- Prior Experience Needed: None; this program is designed for beginners.
- Minimum Age Requirement: 10 years old.
- Fitness Level: General good health; participants will complete a medical questionnaire to ensure safety.
Program Duration:
- Half-day experience.
- Includes a brief orientation, confined water session, and optional open water dive.
Depth & Safety:
- Max depth: Up to 12 meters/40 feet under instructor supervision.
- Safety considerations: Close supervision by certified instructors, adherence to safety protocols, and use of appropriate equipment.
Equipment Provided
- Included: Mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy control device (BCD), regulator, wetsuit, tanks, and weights.
- Recommended: Swimwear and a towel.
- Optional: Underwater camera to capture your experience.
